Any freshman student who wants to enroll in a certain major, after the successful completion of the Freshman Year, must fulfill the requirements of the College s/he wishes to join according to the following:

College of Business Administration: A GPA of at least 70% and a grade of at least 70% in both MATH190 and ECON190.

College of Engineering: A GPA of at least 75%, and a cumulative average of 80% in MATH190 and MATH191, and a cumulative average of 80% in PHYS190 and PHYS191 at the end of the freshman science year.

College of Science and Information Systems: 

• A GPA of at least 75% and a cumulative average of 80% in MATH190 and MATH191 at the end of the freshman science year for those who wish to join an Information Science Program.
• A GPA of at least 70%, and passing the HCU Aptitude Test for those who wish to join the Graphic Design Program.
