New students can apply to HCU as freshman, sophomore or transfer students for the Fall or Spring semesters. Applications for admission are available at the Admissions Office or can be downloaded from HCU’s web site.

New students can apply for admission to the College of Business Administration, the College of Engineering, and/or the College of Science and Information Systems.

Admission to the Freshman Program

Students planning to join the Freshman Class must enroll in either the Arts Program (College of Business Administration) or the Science Program (College of Engineering or College of Science and Information Systems). Upon successful completion of the Freshman Class, the student is entitled to be promoted to the sophomore class after satisfying the requirements of the Lebanese Ministry of Higher Education and HCU.

Admission to the Sophomore Program

Students planning to join the Sophomore Class can apply to HCU provided that her/his school certificate (secondary or technical) matches the type of the certificate required by each College.

Admission as Transfer Student

Transfer applications from other universities are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine their eligibility for admission and to decide on the courses the student can be exempted from.
